Bridge to Hipsterville

The Williamsburg bridge has never gotten the respect it deserves. NYC Roads has a nice overview of this sorry structure, from the early years as "Jew Bridge" through the recent $1 billion renovation. Personally, I live a block away from the span and before this weekend had never crossed it by foot. Well lucky reader, now I have as they say, "crossed that bridge," and have posted a brief slideshow for your enjoyment.
