Neal Pollack, Williamsburg, Guest Lists for ENY

Out of nowhere I was invited to the guest list for tonight's performance of the Neal Pollack Invasion at Luxx in Williamsburg. I assume this has something to do with ENY since I don't know Neal, am generally never on anyone's guest list and have absolutely no hipster cache. Nevertheless, if it was the intention of the Pollack consortium to gain press recognition for his show, then the simple offer of the guest list access for a shut-in like myself was clearly effective, as is self-evident from this post. Next time the publicist should request that I write about their gig before it happens rather than immediately following.

Pollack and I were wearing the same shirt, which caused him to scowl at me throughout the show. Either that, or he was just drunk and scowling at everyone in the audience and I'm just not special. My favorite song was "New York City is a Pile of Shit" while my wife preferred the "Purple Rain" cover.

In conclusion, the only way I'm going to be able to keep up with the happenings in New York is if I'm plied with free offers from PR flacks and the like, so keep the freebies coming.
