I 'm continually amazed at the way trees are sacrificed because they get in the 'way 'of building instead of finding a way to build around them. (It's like when you go into the 'country' - or parts of New Jersey - and they cut down all the trees for a housing development and then replant a random few and it just looks so darn sad and empty.) They also cut down beautiful old trees in Stuyvesant Town recently and may be continuing to do so. Save the Trees!
