Time Warner Center Photos, Part 1

I recently made the trek north to see the mall at Columbus Circle. The architecture is pretty interesting, especially the striking front window overlooking the Circle. I could do without the throngs of gawkers and overpriced merchandise, but what can I say, I'm crabby that way.

Here are some photos of the building, in Part 2 I'll show photos of the shopping.

I'm a little disappointed in some of these photos. I'm having some serious technical issues with my Cannon PowerShot, especially with the flash. The building is really majestic in a Mall of America sort of way. The lobby is really impressive, but as you go to the higher floors, the space starts to feel cramped and a bit spooky. Overall I'm not that optimistic about this place for anything but the Whole Foods, but I'll leave that to Part 2.

Also: Could they have made the Lincoln Center sign any uglier? Is there some sort of ironic ugliness asthetic that I'm missing for that one?
